Design process
Tailored Proposal
The journey begins with a consultation meeting to better understand your vision for the property. After going through the “wish list” we will tailor a custom proposal for your project specifically based on the discussed deliverables that are specific to you.
Site Analysis & Base Map
Once the proposal is approved, our designer will come to your property to do a detailed site analysis to gather all the information needed to create a base map of your existing conditions. These items include gathering elevations, mapping existing vegetation trees, existing hardscapes such as your driveway and walkways, property boundaries, utilities and your home's footprint and orientation. If the complexity of your project requires an engineered survey, we will include that in our proposal and manage that portion for you.
Concept Plan
This is where the fun begins! After the base map is completed, we will start the design process with a conceptual plan. Taking your vision and the site into consideration, the goal of the concept plan is to get your vision on paper. This will include a first draft of the design to scale mapped out on your property. At this time details may not be finalized such as plant and materials, but it will be your first look at the direction of your project!
Final Plan
After tweaking the concept plan based on our vision meeting, we will create the final plan set which will include a hardscape layout, planting plan with detailed plant list and any details that may be required for a custom project. This will be a scaled set of plans that will be ready for your contractor to put a price too and begin the installation process.

The Design is Done… How do I get this built?
We are happy to work directly with the contractor of your choice or with a contractor we recommend through the entire project and be present for as much or as little as you would like. Our priority is making sure you as the client feel comfortable and reassured that the plan will come to fruition as discussed in the design phase. We offer project management services in a variety of capacities that we will custom fit to your needs.
